Candle Care Guide

Candle Care
Enjoy Your Candle Safely

Every Vintage Timbers Candle is thoughtfully handcrafted in small batches using a premium soy-coconut wax blend and carefully selected fragrance oils. Following these simple care tips will help you enjoy a cleaner burn, a longer-lasting candle, and the best fragrance experience.

Before Your First Burn
Allow your candle to burn until the melted wax reaches the edges of the vessel. This usually takes 2–4 hours, depending on the size of the candle.
Creating a full melt pool during the first burn helps prevent tunneling and promotes an even burn throughout the life of your candle.

Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch.
A properly trimmed wick helps reduce soot, minimizes mushrooming, and creates a cleaner, more even flame.

Burn Time
For best results:
   ●    Burn for 2–4 hours at a time.
   ●    Do not burn for more than 4 hours in a single session.
   ●    Allow the candle to cool before relighting.

Candle Safety
Always:
   ●    Burn within sight.
   ●    Keep away from children and pets.
   ●    Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
   ●    Keep away from drafts and flammable materials.
   ●    Never move a burning candle.
   ●    Stop burning when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.

Natural Wax
Because we use a premium soy-coconut wax blend, it's a luxury wax. These are natural characteristics of plant-based waxes and do not affect the performance or quality of your candle.
